Journal Governance & Publication Policies
1. Frequency of Publication
The Bharat Journal of Integrated Knowledge Systems (BJIKS) is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal. To ensure a consistent flow of high-quality research, we adhere to the following publication schedule:
- Issue I (Spring): January – March
- Issue II (Summer): April – June
- Issue III (Monsoon): July – September
- Issue IV (Winter): October – December
2. Article Processing Charges (APC) & Access Model
BJIKS operates as a Gold Open Access journal, ensuring that Integrated Knowledge is accessible to the global scholarly community. To maintain the high standards of professional editing, HTML-XML conversion, digital hosting, and global indexing, the following Article Processing Charges (APC) apply upon the acceptance of a manuscript:
- For Indian Authors: ₹7,200 INR (Includes ₹6,000 base fee + 18% GST).
- For International Authors: $105 USD (Calculated as ₹6,000 base fee + 18% GST + International Forex Markup & Transaction Fees).
Technical Standards & Accessibility:
- HTML-Sourced Full Text: To meet international interoperability standards, all BJIKS articles are published as HTML-sourced web versions, ensuring high visibility, search engine optimization (SEO), and compatibility with screen readers.
- Master LaTeX Template: For the final PDF version, BJIKS utilizes a proprietary Master LaTeX Template designed for precision and academic elegance. This template is made accessible to all submitting authors to ensure their research meets the highest formatting standards of the "Social Science Universe".
Access Policy:
- RASA GOLD PASS: All articles are free to access for holders of the RASA GOLD PASS, a premium membership for the Research & Analytical Support Associates community.
- Global Exchange: BJIKS is committed to the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge and safeguards the future of Integrated Knowledge Systems.
3. Digital Archiving & Preservation Statement
To ensure the permanent availability and preservation of scholarly research, BJIKS has implemented a robust digital archiving strategy:
- Cloud Preservation: All published articles and datasets are archived using Unlimited Cloud Hosting services via Hostinger, providing high-speed redundancy and 99.9% uptime.
- Internal Repository: RASA maintains a dedicated digital repository to safeguard all manuscript versions, ensuring that the "Social Science Universe" remains accessible to future generations of researchers.
4. Plagiarism & AI Ethics Policy
BJIKS maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward academic dishonesty. All submissions undergo rigorous screening using industry-standard software (Turnitin/iThenticate).
- Similarity Index: Manuscripts must demonstrate a similarity index of below 15% (excluding references and bibliography).
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy: While we recognize the role of emerging technologies, the core intellectual contribution must be human-led. AI-generated content must be below 20%.
- Mandatory Disclosure: Authors are strictly required to disclose the use of AI tools (such as LLMs for grammar or data analysis) in the "Acknowledgments" or "Methods" section of the paper.
- Failure to meet these standards or to disclose AI usage will result in immediate desk rejection.
