The Bharat Journal of Integrated Knowledge Systems (BJIKS) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to advancing scholarship at the intersection of Social Sciences and Integrated Knowledge. Established as a subsidiary of Refined-Research & Analytical Support Associates Pvt. Ltd. (RASA), registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.

BJIKS provides a platform for original research, reviews, policy briefs, and commentaries that highlight Integrated Knowledge Systems and their relevance in contemporary society.

MAPPING THE DYNAMICS OF OBC MOBILIZATION AND INTER-COMMUNITY COLLABORATION: A SOCIO-ECONOMIC STUDY OF MOVEMENT STRATEGIES IN TELANGANA

This study examines how historical structural neglect has affected Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and their socio-economic conditions in Telangana after Partition. It focuses on the “internal displacement” and marginalization experienced during the transition from Nizam’s rule to the Indian Union, rather than viewing the 1947 Partition solely through a communal lens. The primary objective is to assess rehabilitation policies and the impact of caste identity on resource distribution.

LOVE BENEATH THE KARMA TREE (Romantic expressions in Baiga tribal folk karma songs)

Folk traditions in India serve as vital expressions of cultural identity, emotional life, and ritual practice. This paper examines romantic expressions in Baiga Karma Geeth, folk songs performed during the Karma festival among the Baiga, a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) of Central India. While existing scholarship has documented Baiga ritual systems and ecological knowledge, the affective and romantic dimensions of their expressive culture remain underexplored.
